Bryce Canyon

So, after our slushy, snowy, and marble sizes hail experience at Brian's Head, we headed for warmer weather.

We heard that Bryce Canyon was beautiful, and we were nor disappointed. The rock structures in Utah constantly change as you travel from view point to view point.

We had fun taking some poser shots of the Jeep passing through the arches, or "tunnels" as they are officially called. It was a bit chilly still, but Gwen was a trooper and snapped some pics with both the iPhone and the DSLR.

After taking a ton of fun pics, we decided that it was time to end our exciting day of sleet, hail, and snow, we decided that it was time to call it a day.

It's laundry time and we were grossly overdue for uploading HD pics from the alpha 390, so we decided to cop-out and stay at a hotel: The Bryce Valley Inn. The Inn is clean and relatively quiet… ordinary. The view across the street is awe inspiring, unlike the rubbery pork ribs Gwen had for dinner.

It will be nice to have a hot shower before we hit the road again tomorrow morning.

  1. The pictures are fantabulous, I love the archway or tunnel. Glad you got to hang at a hotel for a night and get a private shower. Sorry the ribs were rubbery, it ain't the south ya know. Love you guys, take it easy. Mom
