We are going to Utah!!! It's been a year in the planning, but now the day has FINALLY arrived! The apartment is boxed up, check; the dog is groomed, check; Gwen graduated med school, double-check; the Jeep is ready, check...

May 7th we move to our new home in Huntsville, Alabama. It's a big change for us, but we are very ready. We have one day to drop off our stuff, and then we head out west for five weeks of backcountry camping. Gwen is most excited about camping on the beach at Lake Powell, me... I can't wait for MOAB! Either way, it's just the two of us (exactly how I like it), our Yorkie, Ninja, and our 1998 Jeep Cherokee.

We created this blog in order to share this exciting trip with family and friends. We plan to post pictures, videos and text as often as possible. If anyone has any suggestions on places to camp or other sites of interest, don't be afraid to post.
